  • "The role of the magnetic field in the interstellar medium of the post-starburst dwarf irregular galaxy NGC 1569"

Kepley AA, Muhle S, Everett J, et al., Astrophysical Journal 712 (1): 536-557 Mar 2010. NGC 1569 is a nearby dwarf irregular galaxy which underwent an intense burst of star formation 10-40 Myr ago. We present observations that reach surface brightnesses 2-80 times fainter than previous radio continuum observations and the first radio continuum polarization observations of this galaxy at 20 cm, 13 cm, 6 cm, and 3 cm.

  • "The evolution of the gas content of galaxy groups"

Wilcots EM, Astronomische Nachrichten 330(9-10): 1059-1063 Dec 2009.  The author examines multiple facets of the evolution of the gas content of galaxy groups.

  • "Anomalous H I in NGC 2997"

Hess KM, Pisano DJ, Wilcots EM, et al., Astrophysical Journal 699 (1): 76-88 Jul 2009. We present deep H I observations of the moderately inclined spiral galaxy, NGC2997. The goal of these observations was to search for Hi clouds in the vicinity of NGC 2997 analogous to the high-velocity clouds of the Milky Way and gain insight into their origins.

  • "A High-Resolution Study of the H I Content of Local Group Dwarf Irregular Galaxy WLM"
Kepley, Amanda A.; Wilcots, Eric M.; Hunter, Deidre A.; Nordgren, Tyler, The Astronomical Journal 133 (5): 2242-2257 May 2007. The authors present the highest spatial resolution observations to date of the neutral hydrogen content of the Local Group dwarf irregular galaxy WLM.
